Jackson was way better than Ponder. Minn fans wanted Jackson gone. And why? Favre two years in a row dream…. Jackson played well with a torn pectoral muscle in SEA in 2011. He got beat out by a very talented rookie who was cheaper. Jackson will beat Fitz for the starting job. Jackson was never allowed to throw more than 25 passes a game in Minn, so Minn fans all said he couldn’t ever throw for 300 yard passing games… lol When Jackson got to SEA, he threw for at least 3 300 yard games. One he threw for 329 in 2 1/2 quarters of play against CINN when he was clearly still injured, but had to come in to replace a very inept Charlie Whitehurst….

just because he has experience in the WCO doesn’t mean he is any good in it. As a rookie Ponder was already better than him and Ponder hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire

Here’s another Seattle fan who thinks TJack was pretty good. There were no “jump-passes” in Seattle – in fact he did a good job of protecting the ball in general. In 2011 he threw for over 3000 yards and more TDs than picks. The main gripe was that he held the ball too long and would get sacked… bad but not a turnover.

He played tough through a torn pec and took care of business. If Flynn leaves I would think that the Hawks might look at TJack as a potential backup for Wilson, and that wouldn’t be bad IMHO

Here is one Seattle fan who wanted TJACK to come back to Seahawks as a back-up. We are most likely losing Flynn – and Flynn wouldnt even be a good match in a backup role given the new offense.

I have no idea why people dont like T-Jack. I think he is a good QB – hasn’t been great yet, but good. If he can get faster on his reads and release I think he could be GREAT

There won’t be room for 2nd place in the competition amongst the 2 of them … 1 will stay & 1 will go. I’d also expect a 4th name added and what this really says to me is that they likely not be making a trade for an Alex Smith. #4 QB name will be from Draft

Tarvarpicks Jackson? I think i forced it a little but, the point being Jump Pass Jackson has a nasty little habit of throwing directly at opposing cornerbacks. I like the guy personally, but as a Vikings fan, you cannot imagine the relief I felt when he was no longer on our roster.

Poor Travaris. This guy could have been talented if he just had the brains between his ears to read defenses. Once the defense starts to move around, it drives him nuts and he tosses up a goofball.

I think this move is a pretty strong indictment of the QB class in this years draft. Buffalo is a QB needy team and this sends a message that help will not come through the draft right away.
