The Dolphins and their fans may be broke ass as you call us but after the game we go back to our homes here in South Florida where, in February, the sun shines, it’s 75º and our biggest chore is cleaning the backyard swimming pool. How you doing up in Buffalo?

Oh, and by the way — our rookie QB played like a rookie last year with a 76.1 rating. Your 7 year veteran QB has a career 76.5 rating. All in all, I’d rather be in my shoes than yours.

How desperate does Florio have to be to make such a cheap shot at the Dolphins? First, if it were almost any other team, he would probably be calling this just a sale (yeah, I know he got the idea from Volin, but Volin made it the third item on the page after some real, actual news and didn’t add any invective when he reported it, unlike Florio). Second, whatever the Dolphins did with the stuff, Florio would probably find a way to disparage their decision. For example, if they kept/threw it out, he would probably write that they must be doing so because they can’t find anyone to buy it.

Just got back from it. Most of the items are sized for the players and I’m gonna have to spend a long time at the buffet before I can fit into a 4XL. But if you dug hard enough you could find some items for normal sized people at literally garage sale prices. My haul: a long sleeved thermal shirt {for the 4 days a year it gets a little chilly in Miami}, 2 T shirts and about 20 pair of socks, $18. I bring it to the cashiers table and he says, “ah, let’s make it $15.”

Then over to the store in Dolphins Stadium {you will never hear the words Sun Life Stadium come out of my mouth} where everything was 50% off because they have to make room for new crap with the new logo. With the discount, stuff was still selling for twice what it’s worth but the place was crowded and people were happy. All in all, a good morning.

Forget the garage sale, that article you linked says that Koa Misi was just sentenced after he punched THROUGH a man’s front door and broke the guy’s eye socket. That is impressive. Illegal, but impressive.
