Right but you can build houses until you’re sixty or seventy. Football players have to earn as much before they hit 35 as you have to in the rest of your career. On top of that, an injury can flush their entire career and savings plan down the toilet in one second on any given Sunday.

They will sign Brooking to a one year deal. He still has gas in the tank and did pretty darn good last year. Mays is a competent back up, with Williams filling in the third slot on the depth chart.
Safety and running back are higher priorities right now. That being said, the Broncos were 13-3 and top seed in the AFC last year, so it’s not like the walls are crumbling in.

Theyre saying he’s wont count that much against their cap if they release him. They in no way said 500k is not a lot of money. That just means he’ll count for 1/240th against the cap…which is not a lot

They will not trade for either williams or beason not willing to give up picks for them as good as they were under fox they are still key members of the current team. I expect a play for Urlacher possibly move DJ Williams back to the mike but beason not happening. Williams contract is to much for the broncos to take on they will probablly go after either reggie bush or danny woodhead maybe cedrick benson but they were happy with moreno in the passing game late in the season dont know if they will keep mcghaee injuries starting to catch up to him

Im pretty sure Fox would rather have Jon Beason over all of those guys. Don’t be surprised if the Broncos try to trade for him since he was an all-pro middle backer when he was coaching in Carolina.

plus that Kuechly guy pretty good, so Beason won’t even start for the Panthers anymore.
