I don't know whether it's the glamour or allure of playing the position, the potential future earning potential of successful QBs, or people just not wanting to tell a kid what he doesn't want to hear, but their advisors are doing these guys a major disservice in my opinion.

Colin Klein is not an NFL QB. He needs to be surrounding himself with people that can help him transition to a new position and not hiring Jake freakin Plummer to try and turn him into a pro-style QB.

I believe if Tim Tebow had made this transition right out of Florida he would be at the very least an established NFL starter by now, instead of being on the verge of unemployment.

I loved watching Collin Klein play at Kansas State. His game doesn't scream NFL star or even starter for that matter but I thought Matt Leinart and Vince Young were going to be stars.

For Klein's sake, I would love for him to get drafted into an organization such as the Philadelphia Eagles or even the Pittsburgh Steelers for that matter.

Klein is a big kid who does have some throwing issues but if a team takes a flyer on him that already has a cemented starter it could work out well for both parties.

Ryan Mallett is sitting behind Tom Brady and reports say he could start in the NFL right now and that's the same route Klein should take. Though I understand the two are completely different signal callers.
