Former NFL linebacker Reggie Burnette has lost his job as a high school coach after he was arrested on an indecency charge.
Burnette, a linebacker who played for the Packers in 1991 and for the Buccaneers in 1992 and 1993, resigned as Mount Vernon Presbyterian School’s head football coach following an arrest last month for public indecency, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
According to the report, the 44-year-old Burnette is accused of exposing himself to an adult female.
“The victim stated that she had a flat tire on her vehicle (white Lexus) and that she was waiting for roadside assistance vehicle from Lexus when she was approached by a black male in a blue van who asked her for directions and then exposed his genitalia to her before leaving,” the police report says.
The school immediately put Burnette on leave after his arrest.

Sean Salisbury is flabbergasted!
I think he should have texted instead………
what on earth would possess you to do something so stupid?
Not that any crime makes sense but wtf?? Who drives down the road, sees a damsel in distress and thinks to himself “ya know I think I’ll pull over, make up some meaningless question to ask then show her my willy”. It’s the kind of story that you’re actually hoping drugs or alcohol are involved.
Since when is asking for directions considered “Indecent”…. what is this world coming too?
Come on man she was driving a Lexus! She has class, you should’ve known better!
What an idiot…Next year Forbes should put this guy on their ‘most-hated’ list.
Everybody has something, I guess. My deceased brother used to take pictures of his junk and leave them in public bathrooms. When I was a facilities manager (janitor supervisor) I had to fire a guy that wrote his name and phone number on tampons in the women’s bathrooms that he was cleaning. Weird.
Since he was asking for directions, I’m guessing he was just pointing north to find out which way to go!
Her car was broken down at the side of the road, so Reg stopped to ask her if she’d give him a hand.
On the other hand, NFL players pretty much do that every Sunday, put a cup on guys, WTH?
Doesn’t say anywhere that he was convicted.
Once again, a woman’s unverified claim destroys a man’s life.
“your honor, my client is simply a victim of a wardrobe malfunction”
Anyone should know that it is indecent for a guy to ask for directions.
I wouldn’t want a “weenie wagger” coaching my kids.
