Like the list fans shared but I don't know if people understand how good KJ Wright (4th rd) really is..The kid is a stud and beside Wagner with both of them with another year under their belt is going to be special. Seattle has had some of the best drafts the past 3 years without question. Carptenter and Moffit stay healthy I will give them even more credit. Biggest waste of a pick Kris Durham but they drafted McCoy in 6th allowing us to let Carlson walk he may break out.

Also consider the fact that the Seahawks walked into last year's draft with six picks, and walked out with 10.

It wasn't just picking well, it was also the dealing around that made their draft so successful.

In other words, they're not just evaluating the new kids, they're also evaluating what their competition is going to do, and they evaluated both sides very well.

The Seahawks coaches are doing well with drafts because they still know these college players very well…Its the same reason Dallas had such fantastic drafts when Jimmy Johnson and his staff joined the Cowboys…the magic will run its course in another year…..

So what's your point? If they win 3 Championships like Jimmys Boys did then it will be quite worth it then won't it.

"It’s safe to bet that 31 other teams have noticed the success the Seahawks had in last year’s draft, and have started to consider whether they’re putting too much emphasis on height and weight, and not enough emphasis on production."

There is a novel idea. Draft guys who can play rather than falling in love with physical metrics. Some of the GMs in the NFL are too influenced by media. Good for the Seahawks that they have a GM and coach that is not afraid of the media criticism.

It's not just production. It's about being able to make the transition from cool player to the NFL. And that takes passion and desire. The common thread in all the Seahawks playmakers, from Lynch to Wilson and the rest, is an unquenchable desire to work hard and play top tier football.
Sports is just like any other business--in a constant state of trying to figure out what really counts. It's always production. Can the player produce? Height and weight are only potential indicators. The actual record from college is much more valuable.
