This was his 2nd drunk driving incident. He was convicted of this once before. First stone, second stone…whatever, this guy is a fool. He was given one gift when his first drunk driving accident didn’t hurt anyone or himself. What does this guy do with that first gift? Goes out & does it again, this time killing a team mate & a friend.

He deserves a murder with a deadly weapon charge, put away for a long while.

Once upon a time, even if you hated the Cowboys as a team, you had personal respect for the guys in the organization. Great guys like Roger Starbach. Tom Landry. Ed “Too Tall” Jones. You hated them on the field but respected them as men when they were off of the field. The Cowboys used to have a lot of character in their organization. They were “America’s Team.”

And then Jerry Jones bought the team and got rid of everything we used to respect about the ‘Boys. The End.

I know everyone’s been calling him an idiot already, I just have to add to it. Idiot!!! 110+?! And drunk on top of that?! What the hell was he trying to do?! NFL teams need to crack down on this crap. Make a car available to drive them home and insist they use it. Even if Jerry has to pull up at the club in that spiffy new bus, it’s gotta be done. And, not that I want to defend the cowboys by any measure, but he wasn’t invited to be on the sidelines by Garrett or Jones, the players wanted him there. The impression I got was that the coaches and front office weren’t happy about it.

I’m not condoning drunk driving but if you are drunk and are driving why do two to three times the speed limit. Your just asking to get a DUI or obviously something worse. Send him to jail for a long time.

It’s also reported that after Brent got sauced, drove with gross recklessness and then wrecked at high speed – but that Brent followed that up by ignoring/refusing his “best friend’s” pleas for help, allowing him to burn alive.

If that’s true – that takes this to an even darker and more vile place. Absolutely brutal.

Our justice system is a joke. Most likely this guy will get a lawyer and get probation and about 100 hours of community service (which hell never do a second of) or get sentenaced to rehab. Thats why these athletes do so many dumb things like this, theres no accountabilty. Just a joke when stuff like this happens and these guys walk.
