Agree that they should not use the tag. Re-sign Hauschka if they can get him for under the tag value, but as good as he was under 50 it is time to look for a big leg kicker to replace him.

If Hawks pay him 8 mil they better use him 3 downs. Mebane/Branch get so much push up the middle versus the run but we sub both out 3rd & long both Clem & Bruce get pressure from the outside but there is a clean pocket because we used Jones or undersized guy for speed. Pay him & use him- they just payed Mebane and he had a great year when in.

There were multiple times where Hauschka could have attempted 48-55 yard field goals during the season where Carroll instead chose to punt. If I had to guess, since they have 10 picks, they can easily use a late rounder on one of the two Florida kickers
