The CBA says what position they played most and over half of his plays he was a receiver not a TE.

It’s funny how both sides agreed on the CBA and now both spend a lot of time trying to circumvent it.

Cook had 44 receptions for 523 yards and 4 TD’s. A WR with similar numbers was Andrew Hawkins (51 for 533 & 4 TD’s). Would you tag Hawkins for $10 mil a year? I don’t think so. Amongst TE’s, Cook was ranked 20th in yards, 24th in receptions, and 17th in TD’s.

I recognize the guy has some talent, but his production doesn’t warrant being tagged as a WR, and maybe not at all.
