Dr. Andrews is full of it. Most of the league Dr. despise him. He has a full blown publicity machine that makes him look like the greatest orthopedic surgeon of all time. Of course he can say people like RGIII and latimore are ahead of schedule….but whose schedule? It’s ficticious! If RGIII plays week 1 or if Latimore plays week 1 they could end up like Jerry Rice and just get reinjured. No matter what the great Dr Andrews says, it’s still up to the ckubs medical staffs to clear the players and they won’t clear them until they are ready to play

The fact is that Andrews is the greatest orthopedic surgeon of all time. Not only did he invent many of the techniques that are now used by orthopedic surgeons around the world, but his patients have always shown remarkable recovery time and lack of susceptibility to future injuries after working with Andrews as compared to other doctors. Look at Thomas Davis; compare Ricky Rubio to Derrick Rose and John Wall. How about Greg Oden– I’m a big fan, but he went to a surgeon not name Andrews, and now his career is probably over.

Many so-called medical experts and “unnamed sources” predicted that Griffin and Lattimore wouldn’t be able to start rehab and physical training until Spring or early Summer, but both of them are already climbing stairs, doing swimming pool aerobics, and other advanced stages of physical therapy.

You can talk all you want about how Griffin’s recovery is all BS or hearsay, but surgery recovery is a measurable, quantifiable statistic and pretending it isn’t won’t make your team better and it won’t make you look smarter.

As I said above, I’m not a Redskins fan by any stretch of the imagination, it’s in New York’s best interest to keep him off the field for as long as possible, I’m just a realist.

He then made tempering statements to remind everyone that surgery recovery is a business of speculation. Adidas centered an advertising campaign around the ongoing Robert Griffin storyline. Griffin issued a statement reminding everyone that advertisements are designed to sell things, not predict the 2013 NFL season.

Andrews did not flip-flop by first saying the “surgery went really well” and later saying “that doesn’t mean Griffin will be running a 4.19 forty in May; it just means the surgery went well.”

When Griffin added his “asterisk” to the Adidas ad, he wasn’t informing the world that he was retiring from the NFL due to injury. He was reminding everyone that advertisements are fiction, as anybody who has opened a bottle of Red Stripe and not found themselves surrounded by hot girls at a Jamaican beach party knows very well.

Basically, Griffin’s recovery will go as it goes; and anything said by Jason Cole, unnamed sources or this site’s writers should be taken as seriously as you take the ad for the shoe that will transform you into Cam Newton.

It’s clear half the audience here isn’t pragmatic, let alone know what the word means,….. The others just think REDskins nation are represented by mayor LOGICALVOICESAYS when in reality we roll our eyes and give him a thumbs up for Entertainment value.

Funny how little objectivity exists when discussing the REDskins.

A) Because AD did something freakish, RG3 and frankly everyone will now be held to his unrealistic standard, and your less of a man if you don’t do that.

B) Anytime anybody does something in sports extraordinary, lazy unathletic bloggers that don’t workout and sit on websites all day claim they did steroids. Maybe AD just worked really hard/has great genes? Not every amazing feat in sports is due to roids, but that’s what we’ve come to now.

The R knee for repair, the L as a ligament donor. Griffin’s R knee had already donated available ligament (or cartilage or something) for his first (R)ACL repair a few years ago. So he’s rehabbing both knees.
