PFT on NBC Sports Network: B.J. Raji

The Scouting Combine is rolling right along in Indianapolis, but we’ll take a step away from that for a bit on Monday’s edition of Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network for a chat with Packers defensive tackle B.J. Raji.

Raji will talk with Erik Kuselias about the end of the Packers season and what Raji thinks the team needs to do to get deeper into the playoffs next season. Raji’s also entering the final year of his contract, so we’ll see if he’s heard anything about an extension from the team yet.

Mike Florio, Tom Curran and Bob Glauber will all be on hand to keep you up to date on everything that happened at the combine on Monday. They’ll also catch up on all the latest news from around the league.

It all gets underway at 5 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

One word to describe B.j Raji : Overrated.

Most 3-4 defenses would kill for a NT that forces as many double teams as much as Raji does.

But there isn’t a statistical category for that so you’re average dumb football fan would say he’s overrated.

Adrian Peterson (league MVP) praised Raji …
Watch the games – teams ran it at that doofus Erik Walden – who couldn’t keep contain, and only had slow AJ and Soft Tramon to keep running backs from taking it to the house.

Raji and Pickett were the only guys that played the run last year.
