Nearly two months after the 2012 regular season ended, the coaching carousel is still spinning.
A little.
Via our brethren at CFT, the Saints have hired a new defensive backs coach, from the college ranks. Wesley McGriff makes the jump from Ole Miss, where he served as cornerbacks coach and co-defensive coordinator for one season.
McGriff joins a defensive staff led by defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, who was hired to install a 3-4 defense — and presumably to reintroduce swagger.
Without, you know, bounties.

Well, at least they didn’t have to announce it on Friday afternoon to bury it in the news cycle.
Wow. Ole Miss alumni and huge Saints fan here… Don’t know if I’m more sad for my rebels (he was a great recruiter!) or happy for the Saints. Guess, just happy for McGriff…great coach!
Er…take a bite out of crime. No wait, that’s McGruff, not McGriff.
Had to get another “bounty” dig in? That’s getting real old, time to move on, they paid the price…let it go already.
