Kap is no Cam Newton just ask GB’s whole coaching staff that was sent to Texas to learn how to stop him. Don’t remember no one last year sending the entire coaching staff anywhere to stop Cam Newton.
I understand the jealousy but at least comment with some type of football knowledge. It makes you come off as a HATER. Don’t want to label you as that do we ?

SF doesn’t necessarily have the “Offense of the Future”. It’s just a very good offense that averaged over 30 points a game in the playoffs. And anyone who thinks Colin Kaepernick is just Cam Newton 2.0 hasn’t been watching very closely. Kaepernick ran in a designed run play less than 3% of the time. He’s got a stronger and more accurate arm than Newton, he’s faster than Newton, he’s got better pocket presence than Newton, he works harder than Newton, he sees the field better than Newton and according to Newton’s own trainer, Kaepernick is a better athlete. Oh, and Kaepernick is faster than AD. Ponder? He’s not even in the conversation.

I think the loss of Jenkins along with Nick Collins really hurt the defense. Neal and Worthy have been solid but nothing special.

Ricky Jean played ok in limited chances for the 49ers over the years. He doesnt seem to move very fast toward the ball carrier though.

He is better than a lot of guys out there but he is also worse than an only 50% healthy Justin Smith so take that for what you will. As for this revolutionary offense BS Shlort is always spewing about I have a earth shaking statistic for you. Seattle ran the pistol/read option more than SF. Yet combined it accounted for only 1.9% of their offensive plays but hey keep telling yourself that’s all they used. As for coordinators figuring it out.. well they probably should’ve started years ago with Vick running it. Or 2011 with Cam running it… Still hasn’t been figured out. Cam’s struggles last year weren’t due to his offense or to defenses.. It was due to himself and his piss poor attitude. Until defenses can be 100% disciplined every minute of every game it will be successful with guys that can actually throw well too. Quite unfortunately for your theory at least 20-25 teams any given year can’t play that disciplined D for major stretches

RJF didn’t really distinguish himself in that critical time when Justin Smith was down with that elbow-related injury. Defense really struggled then and it was an opportune time for RJF to shine, but he didn’t step up. Got mauled in that Seattle loss/nightmare up north. Sounds like an overpay if you throw a big contract his way. It’s great timing for him and his bank account though.

This guy was in when Smith was out and their production went down 85%.

What makes this guy a good fit in GB?Because he played for SF and SF runs the “Future of the NFL” Offense?

There are better players out there for what Green Bay needs. Back-up players are a dime a dozen.

I hope the Packers sign them both – Canty and Jean-Francois. Have a nice 7 man DLine rotation that includes them & Raji, Pickett, Wilson, Neal and Daniels.
