PFT Live: Steelers need to lock up Roethlisberger, Polamalu

The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to rebound from a tough 2012 season in which they missed the playoffs and finished third in the AFC North. The Steelers should look to extend the contract of their offensive and defensive superstars: Ben Roethlisberger and Troy Polamalu.

    Polamalu should be retiring The steelers need to move on and get younger. This team is done from the playoffs for the next couple years Tomlin led them down a road with a dead end by drafting terribly over the last couple years. When they make the coaching change they will start getting better. Tomlin is out coached at every aspect of the game. He’s simply the steelers “buddy” right now.

    This is the most winning team in football in terms of Super Bowls, payoff wins, and regular season wins since the 70’s merger. They’ll still have a top 3 defense (if not #1) and Ben on the offense in 2013, they’ll be back…. QUICK !

    I agree that Tomlin’s days may be numbered.

    I don’t agree at all with their drafting strategy though – they’re taking far too long to replace.
