This is a hilarious post. Mostly because you’re a ***t-talking Jags fan. HAHA!

I’m a little dissapointed, though, he has insane body control. Almost every game he was making a sweet catch twisting his body in unnatural directions and flipping his hands out so fast that the ball just disappeared into his chest sometimes. Too bad he almost always fell down and laid there till the whistle after the catch.

If he could have just worked a little harder at moving forward after the catch, as well as worked at getting downfield more, I think they would have kept him. He’s just not the fast-paced, downfield receiver we need to open up the middle for our star talent. Ridiculous hands, though.

I remember him getting into locker room scraps with team leaders like Bryant Young and Fred Beasley. He and Kevan Barlow were both jackasses.

You might as well complain that the porno you’re watching has bad acting and a shoddy script.

I don’t really know much about Lloyd and given how much he is owed, I figured he would be back (they got a steal when he signed for what he did), but I guess he isn’t working out.

No, the problem with Lloyd was Brady throwing more deep balls to Edelman, Vereen, Stallworth, and Daniel Fells than Lloyd.

When I saw that bomb go to Fells, I knew the Lloyd “deep threat” wasn’t working quite as planned.

As someone who lives in Boston and reads both paper’s sports section, the two radio station websites and other Boston-centric sports sites, why have I never heard of a Brandon Lloyd issue before now?

From his time spent in Denver (aside from the one year he didn’t dress when he was actually quiet) he was just way too happy about putting up his numbers in games they were losing. They were getting crushed and he was busy doing his ridiculous “you can’t see me” hand motion after every single catch.

As an outsider I would say the Pats don’t need a big name WR, they just need a guy fast enough to get deep quickly where they can hit him every now and then to keep the defense honest. The Pats offense is based on quick screens and 5 yard outs or slants to Welker and the mid range passes to Gronkowski and Hernandez, then you throw in the slower developing screens and check downs to the running backs. This isn’t a knock on the Patriots they do what they do well.

Theres a reason he’s been on every team in the NFL…

Most receivers would be grateful to play for 5 or more teams; franchise receivers are rare. It’s better than being a draft bust, or burning all your bridges like TO.

Brady throws 75% of his passes within 5 yds of the line of scrimmage hence Welker catching 120 balls a year. Only time he’s been good at throwin the deep ball was when he had a motivated Moss that can literally outrun and out jump everyone. Lloyd cant do either of thise so I guess that could make him expendable.
