I’m afraid reality does not support your opinions. I’m not trying to hijack a Panthers thread, but I feel this should be addressed.

The Roski stadium proposal out in the City of Industry isn’t floundering, because it wasn’t viable in the first place. The downtown proposal is moving quietly along, having cleared a number of hurdles with City Hall and various opposition groups. The pending sale of AEG doesn’t appear to be a major stumbling block; a number of the potential buyers have deeper pockets than Anschutz.

It is exceedingly unlikely that the NFL will expand. As I have noted time after time, the current structure suits the League perfectly with regard to Divisional structure, and more importantly, the playoffs. I would hope I don’t need to elaborate on the mathematics of this.

If — and I acknowledge that if is the correct term — Los Angeles gets a team in the next few years, it will be coming from some other city.
