He’ll be the best-paid QB for what, a year? Big deal. By the time his deal is expired in 5 or 6 years, he’ll be out of the top 5 in pay. Besides, the salary cap is gonna get a very nice bump in ’15, so I’d bet that his deal is team-friendly the first 2 years…to a degree.

OK, so I know ya just won the big one and everything, but…is anyone else sitting back and thinking “20 million a year for JOE FLACCO? Friggin really?” Balto fans will prob blow their lids over this, but for that kind of money I’d let him walk. You’re not winning again next year anyway, and Flacco’s ability to manage the game and throw a great deep ball doesn’t exactly make him Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Man-thing. I think Baltimore is going to wind up regretting this one.
