Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning recently returned from visiting troops in Afghanistan. A guy who would like to knock Peyton back there without a plane will soon be visiting the troops, too.
According to the team’s official web site, Texans defensive end J.J. Watt will participate in the annual NFL-USO tour of U.S. overseas military bases.
Watt, 23, has completed two NFL seasons. He was the league’s defensive player of the year in 2012, with 20.5 sacks.
The other participants on this year’s NFL-USO tour aren’t yet known.
