Doom should take a pay cut. The family lab could get 11 sacks with Von patrolling the other side. Doom was Mr. Irrelevant in the playoff loss and his bull rush is does not work against big tackles who over power him. Forget about Freeney and sign Dashon Goldsen. If Doom cannot hang with his well-deserved pay cut, send him back to his hotspot of Miami and let him watch the playoffs like he did last year!

That broncos defense did better with Tim Tebow as their QB than the did with Peyton Manning.

I’m a complete Peyton Manning fan, but facts are facts, if anybody should take a paycut it’s Manning.

Does everybody so quickly forget against the Ravens there were 2 returns for TD’s that made it seem like a close game?

If you’re saying big Elvis’ name wasn’t heard in that playoff loss, where exactly what Peyton throwing TD’s.

It wasnt Elvis who simply took a dive when Flacco bombed it out on a last ditch effort.

As a Charger fan, nothing would make me happier than to see Dooms leave the Broncos

How exactly did Manning have his team up by 7 points with less than a minute to go? He was handed 14 points by Trindan Holliday. Manning led his offense to 21 big fat points.

But you’re right, I remember after Flacco threw that 70 yard TD how the Ravens stormed the field as they won it in the final seconds…

…Wait, you mean the game continued? And Mr. MVP had the ball two times and needed only a field goal to win? And then he threw across his body and was intercepted on his own side of the field. In a sudden death game?

Everyone talking about Denver not being able to manage the cap, this has nothing to do with the cap (Denver is $8.5 million under after the franchise tag was put on Clady) this has to do with the Broncos not feeling that Doom is worth his current pay cheque. He’s very much a boom or bust player, when he’s rolling he can get 4 or 5 sacks in a game but then he’ll be invisible for 3 games in a row. He was poor in the playoff game, taking several penalties and he failed to generate any sort of pass rush while the Broncos were lining Miller up on the line (forcing a double team) and then dropping him into coverage.

For the guy saying Manning lost the playoff game, he had them up by 7 with less than a minute to go, I’m not sure he’s to blame for a second year safety badly underplaying a rainbow.

Peyton should take a pay cut…no doubt. He can’t through a pass over 20 yards and because of his neck surgery he has no feeling in his fingers when its really cold out. THAT’S the Bronco problem…not Dumerville.

I think this is false. The Broncos want to restructure his contract, so to take less of a cap hit and retain him at DE.

Why can’t 5 head take a paycut? I mean he is the reason Denver is up against it. If he told daddy to shove it and no insist to squeeze every penny that he can out of the organazation maybe he would have some players to actually win the big game. Nope, since Archie felt like he got screwed over when he played, he has preached the cautionary tale to get yours to his good ole boys. I guess there is nothing wrong with that but man, when is enough enough?

I have been told by every Private company since 1998 to accept a pay cut. It is about time that Government workers and the NFL hear the same….Oh yeah…and you can include no pension in that as well.

He had 11 sacks and 6 forced fumbles last year. Wow he’s a bust. Yes he had a few more penalties than usual and not that good against the run. But his job is to get the QB plus has he had the same DC since he was drafted? I’d restructure the guy.
