I’d be shocked if no teams talk to him this weekend. It’s not like agents and teams have ever really followed the tampering guidelines.

This makes no sense and wouldn’t likely hold up in court. If you are acting as your own agent, you are an agent. The league can’t have different rules for different agents. He can talk to any team, as he is the agent. If I were him I would inform the league that I’m going to talk to teams as my agent.

So when a player represents themselves does NFLPA have attorneys look it over? Or does player do it themselves(hire a lawyer) I can see saving 3% off a large some of money, but in some cases it seems like 3% would be ok to not deal with headache.
