ProFootballTalk: Is Asomugha on the chopping block?

Nnamdi Asomugha is set to earn a base salary of $15 million in 2013, and reports indicate the Eagles are likely to release Asomugha before that kicks in. Are these reports legit, and if so, what will Philadelphia do with the money they save?

    I think he’s untradeable. He would basically be able to veto any trade that he didn’t like by not renegotiating his deal.

    That is an easy one to answer. I’m sure the Eagles will use the money to lower ticket and parking prices, O, and concession s also, and they’ll do this because they care about us fans…..

    I love how every reporter who ISN”T in Philly thinks it’s a possibility Namdi could be back.

    Cut him now, he’s just horrible!! One of the worse CB’s in the league! Not worth $4 DOLLARS, much less 4 MILLION!!!!!!
