Id rather Pittsburgh sign Bradshaw than Dumervil for two reason. 1. He will come a lot cheaper than Elvis will. We all know the Steelers are already broke as a joke. 2. They can get a ready now pass rusher in the first or second round of the draft. Its almost a given they'll go RB in the the third. It makes sense to have Bradshaw mentoring a rookie than Dwyer or Redman. So Bradshaw makes more sense to me.

All you Dolphin fans out there get ready for the Mike Wallace let down. Sure hes maybe the fastest straight line receiver in the NFL, but for as many awe inspiring down field catches he makes, there are twice as many drops. Plus, pray that your 2nd yr QB is able to have his passes keep up with Wallaces speed. A veteran Super Bowl winner like Big Ben had a lot of trouble not underthrowing Wallace. Plus, all the ppl saying its funny how Steeler fans now say Wallace sucks. He def doesnt suck, but he is a one trick pony. He hasnt shown the ability to become even a mediocre route runner. And, he isnt willing to sacrifice his body over the middle. So enjoy your excitement over him now. Bc I guarantee this time next year you will all be questioning if he was worth a check of that magnitude!

Thanks to everyone who has weighed in thus far. There are plenty of good points. As I noted on Wednesday, it's a fascinating free agent class -- a good deal of talent but a lot of uncertainty. There are some well-regarded UFAs who are not coming off their best seasons (Wallace, Jennings, Long, DRC, Barwin) but are all talented players who play valuable positions. It's a unique set of circumstances. We shall see. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts.

As a Ravens fan it cracks me up that some team is about to pay 60m for a situational pass rusher who can't (shouldn't) play on every down and 1/2 of a good season in his career

Also how can Cary Williams be higher than grimes? I know grimes is coming off an acl, but god, anyone can line up 12 yds off the ball and consistently be mediocre.

And the fact that ellerbe is below all of them...

Steven Jackson possible HOF??? If so, the standards are getting lower....

Sure, he was a good, not great, running back. Did he set any records? Did he have any incredible, memorable games? Like Emmitt Smith that time when he played with 2 separated shoulders...

Not really. HOF should be for the greats, not the really goods.

But then, you know, they voted in Warren Sapp while Charles Haley and Roger Craig are still waiting....

When I first looked at the list, I said "Fred Davis and Dennis Pitta need to be higher". But now that I think about it, I believe that it's more an objection to how high Martellus Bemnett is.

As a Bears fan mindful of the cap, I see Fred Davis as more likely than Jared Cook, and I sense he comes at a price difference that's larger than the gap in talent between him and Cook.

As a Jets fan....

Keller at 36? He could be good if anyone other than Sanchez was QB, but he also showed he is injury prone and can't block.

How is Landry, a pro-bowler in his prime, at 47, when Keller is at 36? Landry was one of the only reasons watching the Jets was tolerable this year.

Why is Shonn Greene on this list (93)?

Brandon Moore (97) is one year away from being a pro bowl guard. He's declining, but he's better than 97.

Jason Jones is a DT, not a DE. PC/JS picked him up thinking he would help pressure the QB, letting the 3/3/5 "Big Nickel" play more coverage. The 'Hawks used him almost exclusively as the nickel/dime pass rush specialist DT, he ran loops/stunts > 75% of the time. It was effective early in the season, but once teams saw it on tape he basically disappeared.

'Hawks are looking for help at DT whilst simultaneously cutting Jay Joe, what does that tells you?
