Why hasn’t Diehls contract been restructured? Jesus Christ I thought he would get cut and they did not even cut his salary???!!!

He’s had some better years than last year, but I like having him around to mentor the younger secondary guys. That’s still a lot of jack but I believe he’s still got something in the tank and hope he can contribute significantly this year.

I’m not crazy about keeping Webster, i was hoping the giants would just cut him alltogether, but at least he took the pay cut, Rolle should be next to restructure, Diehl will be gone.

Even $4 million feels like too much for a guy who was hands-down (and inexplicably) awful last year. It’s more of an acknowledgement that he has played pretty well for us over the years. I really hope he turns it around next year. This also means we arent going after a CB in the first couple rounds this year.

Webster is a former LSU stud but last year he killed us. With Thomas hopefully coming back healthy and Prince Akumara we should be straight.

Happy to see this. He got burnt pretty bad at the end of last year, and with Prince and Hosely his roll will be more limited this year. I like having him around though. Looking at his whole career he may be one of the best CB’s the Giants have ever had. Glad he’s staying home.

Good move by giants iguess.. webster nickname among my family right now is the human torch (handed down from aaron ross when he left) bec webster just didnt look right last year at all…def a big prove it or move it year next year for him.
