It’s beyond unbelievable that anyone could be defending Wilson here. The kid is selfish, childish, and entitled. How is it Leach’s fault that he walked away in the middle of the season and then attempted to bring the program down with his absurd lies about the coaching staff?

Wilson sure has balls even asking to return for Pro Day. The fact that he even did shows how out of touch with reality he is. By the way – the kid said just yesterday that he doesn’t regret how he left. Walking out on his teammates, blatantly lying – all still ok with Wilson after some time to think. Wow.

Wilson already worked out at the real NFL Combine in Indy, if you noticed near the end of the post. Why would he want to pay $275 to perform at a regional combine? There’s one in Seattle on the 23rd of March, if so. However, he can also schedule his own workout in his hometown of Tulare (CA).

Marquess Wilson’s situation sounds awfully similar to WR A.J. Barker from Minnesota. He too whined about the coach causing him emotional stress and quit. These WR’s nowadays are such entitled, whiny brats.

So, you’re telling me a player that quit mid-season and said that he was verbally, physically and mentally abused is being prevented by the current coaching staff to participate in their pro day?

I know Mike Leach provides an easy target but this is a no-brainer in my book. Sure Leach could look like the bigger man by letting Marquess Wilson participate but I believe that Wilson caused this, not Leach.

He made some serious allegations toward Washington State, Leach and his coaching staff. I am quite shocked that he even thought that would be an option.

Best of luck to Wilson but he needs to make some smarter decisions moving forward.

Get your facts right Crabtree! NFL Clubs are NOT allowed to bring in prospects for private workouts. They can bring them in for medicals and interviews ONLY.
If Wilson cannot workout at WSU he has to either find a place in Pullman to workout or he can workout for Clubs in his hometown. No where else. He can not workout at a smaller school in another part of the state. Kids from the FCS level or lower can workout at a D-I schoo; but not the opposite.
As for 4t9er, the rules are not rediculous, they have been in place for years and are there to prevent teams from cheating. SO shut up!

I just don’t feel sorry for him. Wilson burned his bridges to WSU. He can’t be shocked they won’t let him do his Pro Day there. Whether you like Leach or not,the school cleared him of any wrongdoing. Wilson does have some issues though. Good luck to whatever team wants to waste a pick on this guy.

This dude was considered a top 3 round pick. If he falls that far bc of supposed character problems the Seahawks will snag him for sure.

This kid will be the steal of the draft mark my words. This dude is a beast on the field very productive even without a supporting cast around him.

Grow up WSU. All that excitement about Leach at the beginning of the season is gone. He’s pulling the same stuff here he did in Texas. Never liked the guy before, but the crap he did in WSU just made things worse. Its the same thing again. That guy needs to be out of football.
