The crowded ranks of the free-agent kicker class have thinned at the top.
According to CBS’ Jason La Canfora, the Titans and PK Rob Bironas reached agreement on a two-year contract Thursday.
Bironas, 35, was PFT’s top-ranked kicker in the Class of 2013 (No. 86 0verall). He is the first member of the PFT Free Agent Hot 100 to strike a deal. Bironas connected on 25-of-31 field goals a season ago.
With Bironas apparently off the market, the Seahawks’ Steven Hauschka and the Browns’ Phil Dawson rank among the top options in a deep free-agent PK group.

I will never forget the first time I heard the Titan’s turning “My Shirona” into “My Bironas.”
Glad he got re-signed.
My Bironas!
Good deal for… Ma ma ma ma ma ma, MY Bironas!
Unlike with Cook, the Titans felt comfortable winning the “he’s not a wide receiver” argument with Bironas. Of course they had to check his snap count to see how often he was lined out wide.
I was just saying last week that the Titans were just two Keyunta Dawson and Rob Bironas resignings away from the Super Bowl. Calling it now.
