Although it wasn’t the best idea to not look into the injury further, you can not ever question this guys’s toughness, love of the game, and his unselfish team first attitude.

There’s nothing more selfish than playing hurt, running away from contact, and hurting your team by doing so. If you see that as unselfish, the only explanation that makes logical sense is that Williams is just plain dumb. Anyone North of literate would realize that he is not helping at all. The ONLY alternative, then, is selfishness.

Why is this news? He had one OK season, and has been milking the same injury for two years now. Plus, he is on Packers defense.. Like a peanut in a turd, he stands out on a defense that has no talent.

He was an embarassment in the 9er game. Kaperdink almost pointed to the receiver, “Oh your being covered by williams, expect the ball then’ .
Considering the QB was new, it was obvious his coaches told him zero in on Williams and you’ll get lucky all day lone.

Tramon’s in a tough spot. I currently have 2 partial tears in my right rotator cuff and quite a bit of nerve impingement. It’s miserable, of that I can assure you.

I am also trying to let it heal non-surgically, because I had a complete tear in the other shoulder 10 years ago and had it repaired surgically. That surgery is known to be one of the most painful that there is and the recovery time is every bit of a full year.

The thing is, if I keep eating pain pills like they were Skittles, I can function quite well albeit not at 100%. For millions per year, I could suck it up and keep going for a plenty long time.

Adrian Peterson and his teammates were literally laughing at Williams on the sidelines (as recorded by NFL Films) for his refusal to tackle. The games against the Vikings were the worst example, but he was doing everything he could to avoid hitting someone all year long. I really hope he gets better next year, but this really just has the stink of excuse making.

We’re soft. We always have the same guys fighting nagging injuries (shoulders, hamstrings etc..) We need to get rid of them and find someone tougher..

Purple Punisher must have not seen the 3rd game of the season between GB and MIN. Apparently you forgot that the Packers beat the Purple Punishers in the playoffs….quick, blame it on Ponder being out(we all know he loves throwing Packer defensive backs) and it likely wouldn’t have made a difference.

Wow, I am a Packer fan, but lots of you guys need to realize this is not the same Tramon who returned the pick 6 vs Atlanta in the SB XLV run to glory. His cap number is 6 million this year. If you honestly believe he is worth that after the past 2 years, without assurance that he will ever be the same, then I guess I am starting to realize why us Packer fans have a bad rep on these boards. It is one thing to use common sense, but to blindly support something that makes no sense is a completely different story.

It may be true, it could be an excuse. Either way, he is paid way too much money considering how he played on the field.

Either he heals quickly and returns to form or the Packers should waive him. Peterson never gets those 200 yards if he had been willing to tackle.
