APThe Bengals’ punter won’t be going anywhere.
Kevin Huber, who has punted for the Bengals since they chose him in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL draft, has signed a new contract to remain with the team.
“Happy to announce I will be sticking around cincy for another 5 years,” Huber wrote on Twitter.
A Cincinnati native who went to college at the University of Cincinnati, Huber was believed to have a desire to stick around, so it’s not a big surprise that he didn’t test the free agent market.
Huber was one of only two punters in our Free Agent Hot 100. The top remaining punter available in free agency is Oakland’s Shane Lechler.

Great move for the Bengals. Local Cincinnati native and finished the year strong. Doesn’t have the strongest leg but is great at pinning them inside the twenty.
At least we know the Bengals won’t spend a 3rd round pick on a punter
(Love you Jacksonville)
This is HUGE. One of the best punters in the NFL. Most AFC North games are defensive battles and field position is a big factor in the outcome. Big plus for the Bengals keeping this guy.
