Wouldn’t be the same without the obligatory tarps and “move to LA” cracks. Jags were 20th in the league in attendance last year and outdrew the Steelers.

Landry was a decent player but not a 5.35 million dollar player. Goodbye, it’s the NFL- if the players don’t like it then they can address it via the CBA. Complete makeover in Jacksonville…Posluzny and Mincey’s days are numbered too.

It’s not like Landry wasn’t performing well either. This is a money move plain and simple. The double standard needs to stop.

All i have to say is lol, Jags pay out the ass for Landry off a neck injury and the Ravens get a better safety for next to nothing in Pollard. Ravens front office is the best in the league.

It’s hard to make an impact when the rest of your team sucks. I really liked Landry and I would love to see Baltimore make room for him again. Unlikely though

He didn’t play free safety. Dwight Lowery was the free safety. Landry started at strong safety.

Landry was a solid player but very overpaid. The first of many moves that the team will make to completely re-do the roster.

Chuck Pagano was his coach for several years, first as a DB coach and then as a defensive coordinator. Indy needs a strong safety. Pretty easy to connect the dots.

What is the point of even signing a multi-year contract?

if a team can just cut you, why cant a player just go to a diff team willing to pay more like college coaches do..

Guess the secondary didnt suck well enough last year so cut the best DB they have and suck even worse! Jags shootin for the first pick in 2014, shouldnt be to hard, being as there are no changes planned to happen except for sucking worse than we did last year,and the years before.

I think that is a bad move, he came here to Jacksonville and was one of the bright spots on a bad defense. He always played hard. I know they want to save some money but come on man. I guess another team will sign him pretty quick sense he still has some good years left in the league.
