Eli has shown a propensity to be able to work with any tight end he is given. He made Boss, Ballard and Bennett better players than they are. Reese knows this and I would not see him overpaying him. However, Bennett has leverage that he wouldn’t have had the Giants resigned Ballard last year and not toyed around with him.
