Javarris James arrested, again

The NFL career of Cardinals running back Javarris James isn’t going as smoothly as that of his cousin, Edgerrin.

According to the Naples News, James was arrested Thursday for failing to appear in court.  In 2011, he was arrested for marijuana possession.

Last month, James was suspended four games for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.

After a rookie season that included six touchdowns with the Colts, James was out of football in 2011.  He signed with the Cardinals but suffered a knee injury in training camp.

These guys just don’t get it. Its like its this impossible task or realm of logic that professional athletes cannot grasp.

This is the same as someone telling any one of us average Joe’s hey dude….stay out of trouble, follow the rules and laws reasonably and you will cash in millions of dollars. Thats the decision that is laid out in front of these retreads and they’re like lets see…….I can be a normal citizen of society and make millions of dollars or I can be a stupid punk and act like an idiot my whole life and ruin my chance at extreme wealth. Hmmm…..yup! Ill go with option B!!!

What a shame, he probably has 7 kids (with six different women) counting on him to put food on the table

Thanks alot Javarris. We made it to 13 days without an arrest and then you had to screw it up.

The urban community really needs to raise their young people better to respect the LAW and act civilized.

  17. omizu45 says: Mar 9, 2013 9:02 PM

I love it, the “urban community”, right is right and wrong is wrong, but let’s not pretend that people in the “burbs ” don’t break the law. The application of the law is simply often altered by a phone call prior to the incident being reported. Certainly, what this guy did is beyond comprehension, as we recognize that if this choice is indicative of his potential outside of football, then he has a long hard road to haul. But to make a generalization that the whole “urban community” is somehow lawless, is as irresponsible as Javarris’ choice.

Shocker, he looks so innocent in that pic.

The Jameses aren’t from an urban community.

Color has nothing to do with anything. That’s an ignorant statement in 2013
