Jenkins should have been released immediately following a Packer game a few years back. He showed his spinelessness by blatantly choosing to avoid contact. Good riddance wuss; can’t cover and won’t hit.

Never really got the feeling Jenkins wanted to play for Dallas last season so this comes as no surprise. A change of scenery may benefit Jenkins but I wouldn’t bet on it. Jenkins is not one to come up and make a tackle.

I don’t understand the lack of interest from Dallas in Jenkins. He played very well before his injury and returned to the field hurt. The lack of tackling people talk about was when he was playing with one arm on a shoulder injury that later required surgery. The only thing that I can think of is that he got pissed off when they drafted and signed his replacement after he put in hard work while being injured. Then the team limited him during his contract year. It may have caused a rift between him and the team but can you blame him? He’s going somewhere else to show that he was very worthy of the first round pick they used on him and Dallas is going to look foolish for letting him go. One injured season shouldn’t wipe the fact that he was a Probowl selection the year prior.

I think your wrong about that, he was injury prone, They needed depth which is why they didn’t trade him. Speculation saying they wouldn’t trade him for a first rounder is dumb!

The cowboys were never offered a first round pick of Jenkins. They were offered fourth or fifth round picks because he was coming off shoulder surgery. Why let the guy go for a fifth rounder if signs with another team now the cowboys get a third round compensatory pick.

@coltzfan no one offered a first round pick for him they probably got a 4th or 5th round offer at best. He is injury prone and had one year left on his contract no team would offer a first round pick. Yea we should have traded him last season but hind sight is 20/20 if we would have made the playoffs this year we would have needed him and it would have been a good decision

In a reserve role in 2012 when he blew his shoulder and could only play with one arm. He also saved Sensabaughs butt a bunch cause he could not cover. They should have cut scandrick and given Jenkins that contract..
