Unfort. due to that screw up Mike T. and the cap HELL he put this team in, the Jets must go after cheaper players. Its not to say they are not good players, they are just coming much cheaper – which is what the Jets need at the moment. Next season will be much different as a few players can come off the books. Idzik is doing a great job thus far and that says a lot considering the cap position we are in.

Manny Lawson is another LB the Jets should look at.

As for Butler he may do ok with the Jets D. The main strength I see in Ryan is his ability to bring out the best on the defensive side of the ball in his players, although he has slipped over the last 2 years in that too.
