Another father-son NFL combination could be making it to the NFL.
Receiver Luke Tasker, son of former Bills’ special-teams standout Steve Tasker, worked out for scouts on Friday at Cornell’s Pro Day.
According to Gil Brandt of NFL.com, Tasker ran the 40-yard dash in 4.59 seconds and 4.63 seconds. Brandt has the rest of the particulars.
Luke Tasker, two inches taller than his five-foot, nine-inch father, didn’t attend the Scouting Combine. Steve Tasker was a ninth-round draft pick in the 1985 draft. After two years with the Oilers, Tasker spent 11 in Buffalo, becoming one of the best special-teams coverage men in NFL history.

I feel the need to compare him to Welker/Amendola/Nelson.
Steve Tasker and Ray Guy should be in the hall of fame. The fact theyre never even considered year in and year out is disgusting.
What position?
One of the best guys you could ever meet!! I hope Steves son finds a good job in the NFL
Another St. Francis high school product coached up by Jerry Smith. Great job, Jerry
Would not be surprised if he is on a roster come fall.
people from buffalo are so small minded. ive never read a post from any other teams news fees that has some local dope making a locall referance in it. get out of your bubble..
So anxious to get the funny standard one liner in at the end of the article that you left out some information …like what position the kid actually plays.
They invented a position at the pro bowl because of Steve Tasker. He was a heck of a player.
If you haven’t heard of Cornell something is seriously wrong with you. Its an ivy league school that made a sweet 16 run in the NCAA tourny a few years back. Weather you know them for sports(unlikely unless its basketball, lacrosse or wrestling) or one of the many famous scientists who have come from Cornell including members of multiple mars rovers teams. Cornell is world wide. Ithaca NY on the other hand, the town Cornell is in is tiny and nice. Very quiet. Tasker was quite the player to. I was always hearing his name while listening to Cornell games
If he works half as hard as his old man did? Theirs room for him in Minnesota!
My son played for Yale and I saw the young Tasker play a few times.
Let’s just say that he and my son will both be watching the games on Sundays.

For anybody that can’t read, I’m pretty sure it says right there that he plays WR.
