I’m how Wright was rated at one of the better FA DB that year. Detroit’s secondary was awful with and without Wright. I read on a few forums fans of CB deprived teams thought their team should sign him, I thought what made him so special? Then I google search his name, and there he is on top of every FA list for defensive players etc. It’s like no one took time to even watch him play in Detroit or Cleveland for that matter. He’s another product of those awfully overrated players in a position deprive free agent class.

This is a terrible rule. I know everyone here thinks the NFL and its brass walk around with halos over their heads but with this type of mechanism out there, who’s to say that teams wouldn’t spike an unwanted player’s drink with banned substances, call the NFL to send their lackey drug tester to test the player and then suspend them for a few games ALL under the guise to get out from under bad contracts????

Isn’t this something you would expect the Jets to do to get out from under the big guaranteed payment they owe Sanchez?

Wow what a loser, this guy is mediocre at best he had an incentive based contract and didn’t live up to it!! So why should we pay him? This guy and Talib ruined our season as bucs fans and then I’ve heard about some comment he made at a fan on twitter! I’m done with this clown and so should the bucs be, he is clearly not a buccaneer man!

Apparently in Wright’s case, the PED’s didn’t do a bit of good anyway… Eric ” Burnt Toast” Wright should have to pay back everything he was ever paid by the Browns, Lions, and Bucs.

Wow as a Bucs fan I have to say this was a colossal disaster… One of the worst signings Dominik has made.

If the Bucs secondary wasn’t so awful I would hope he never comes back. If they get FA CB depth and draft some then he has to be gone regardless.
