I’m glad to see that the rest of the wood-work fans that didn’t come out after that playoff victory over the Saints are now coming out after the team is starting to become good, and are making moves. I liked them years ago when they were terrible, but now all these fans are jumping on the bandwagon, so it looks like I’ll be jumping off. at least now this season, they won’t have the terrible replacement referees helping them win games.

I’m so happy to be a Seahawks fan. Harvin is only a small part of what we have to be excited about. This team has at least 10 all-pro worthy talents and is just getting started. Russell is a top 5 QB and Flynn is a starting caliber back-up. Best secondary in football coolest coach, richest owner and how about John Schneider! 3 years ago it was painful watching this team. Imagine them in another three years !

Everybody saying that percy harvin is a LOCKER room cancer is clueless. Kris klewu (punter for minnie) just went on a seattlr radio station earlier and said that his locker was right next to his and that he didnt understand were all this locker room cancer stuff was coming from.

Give me a break Kluwe is KLUE-less. He spends more time blogging about Ray Guy and Gay marriage than concentrating on his own team. How about throwing a weight at Childress? How about screaming at your (very mild mannered) coach?
How about essentially dissing your own QB (who BTW pretty much MADE your season last year by throwing about EVERY FRIGGIN pass he threw your way until you got hurt.

How about all THOSE things, eh Kluwe? Maybe THAT is what people mean by he is a bad locker room presence you dork….

Harvin plays too hard for his size to stay healthy today, and this risk will get worse each year.

He is not a bad teammate, he just has issues with authority.

Oh yeah, AJ Hawk is the softest linebacker in the NFL.

Have loved Harvin in college and with Vikes. We gave up quite a lot, but if past PCJS personnel decisions are any guide, this should be a blast of a season coming up. Can’t wait!

People need to look into things before they speak, they Seahawks even after this deal will have plenty of cap space, plus dropping/trading Washington, and dropping Obomanu, will free up more cap room, the front office of Seattle is one of the best.

Every issue he had in Minnesota could be raced directly to issues with not having a contract worth what he’s put out every year since his rookie year.

Sidney Rice was a great pick-up for the Hawks. He catches everything thrown at him and has stayed healthy. He doesn’t have huge numbers because the Seahawks run the ball more than anyone else in the league and he had Tavaris Jackson throwing him the ball before DangeRuss came on board.

Seahawks = Vikings West. They go for every Minnesota guy they can get. Burleson. Jackson. Rice. Harvin. Plus 4-5 other no-name players. Maybe Percy will be the very first one to actually pan out for them. He’d better for $10+ million a year. Of course, they said that about Rice, too.

Since when did Bevell have personnel decisions? I could have sworn that a couple of guys named Pete Carroll and John Schneider made those calls in Seattle. Informed speculation can be valuable but it has to be at least somewhat informed.

Pete and John are the ones who will be held accountable for the success or failure of this move. …… which is as it should be.

49′ers fans: Sure, congrats on the playoff run. Harvin’s not going to put Seattle over the top, some UFA defensive help, Wilson progression, egos under control, attention to detail, and and lack of injuries will do that.

But if Seattle held in ATL in the last minute, they’d be going to SF, 4 weeks after beating SF 42-13 in a meaningful game for both teams…so Seattle’s not that far behind.

9ers fan here, and i’ll admit I was hoping we would go after Harvin. When healthy, dude does it all. Kinda crazy he wants to be paid like Megatron and Fitz though. For Seattle’s sake, I hope he wanted out of Min more than he wanted a huge deal, I just don’t see them putting all that towards one player. Then we go out and trade for the sure-handed Boldin. Great move. As big as the rivalry between these teams is, you gotta admit the NFC West is shaping up to be a powerhouse division. So different from just a few years ago…

Vikings often get jobbed by teams but we have a pretty good track record with the Seahawks. We traded Millard for a 2nd round pick and Millard plated two games. We got Steve Hutchinson and put in a “poison pill” so Seattle turned around and signed Nate Burleson from the Vikes for $49 million(!!!!) and put in THEIR poison pill so we could not sign him back. Oh no not that!!!!

It’s hilarious how everyone seems to think that adding Harvin puts the Seahawks way ahead of SF. The Niners just won the division, Kaepernick is just exploding onto the scene, and SF has the most picks in the upcoming draft. Oh, and Harvin has yet to crack 1,000 yards in a single season.

Actually, the Redskins traded some of those picks to the Bears. The Redskins ended up with Champ Bailey and LaVar Arrington, the Saints got Williams, and the Bears got nobody. It was a bad deal for every team involved. The Hershel Walker trade worked out well for Dallas, but they almost traded Michael Irving to the Raiders before that deal went down.

Sure, he could still go.

And Harvin can also go after 2 years if he falls apart again as well, the beauty of non guaranteed contracts.

Seattle has to get some more rush on the QB, and the NFC West will be the division to watch.

Obviously some Viking fans don’t know what a poison pill is…John Schneider has done a great job putting together in the draft and all the right pieces for this team or trades {Lynch-Rice-Miller}. Harvin is exactly the type of dynamic player we needed and we got him for the 25th pick. The fans who say it was a bad trade are clueless . How much money the team is going to spend. What does it mean to any of you besides Viking fans? Seattle fans & players love the trade. Wilson said he can’t wait for the season to start. Go Hawks!
