APWhen it comes to naming streets after people, there’s no name more fitting for the honor than Driver.
According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, the recently-retired Packers is moving closer to getting his own road. The city’s Plan Commission voted unanimously to recommend naming a portion of Pearl Street “Donald Driver Way.”
Driver, who arrived in 1999 via round seven of the NFL draft and spent his entire career in Green Bay, initially preferred “Lane” to “Way.” He has since changed his mind.

Cool that they do this in Green Bay. Do any other cities do this?
The streets of Green Bay are paved with legends.
How about this street name: “It’s The First Day of Free Agency So Who The Heck Cares Drive”?

Donald Driver Way sucks. If not the Drive, then I’d rather have a detour named after me to keep the 3 D’s intact so that it at least sounds catchy! Geeze. I mean Dagnamit!
A street named after you in Green Bay! That would be the dream of every fat, ugly, stupid, inbred, white kid in the north-eastern Wisconsin. What a great honor to receive for anybody with no life.
