He could do squat for 3 years and has a great half season in his contract year. I wouldn’t pay him half of what the Browns are going to shell out. Ellerbe is another matter. I hate to lose him and that looks like the way it is going. Boldin is a big loss, but was pretty expensive as a #2 or #3 receiver.

The great and powerful Oz knows what he is doing. We’ll be in the playoffs again next year. Once there, the road to the SB isn’t a yellow brick road. All kinds of strange stuff happens.

Sure. But there was a reason we called him “The Legend”. It was because we kept hearing about how much potential he had as a pass rusher since he got drafted. He was pretty much a non-factor for a long time, hence “The Legend”, as in Camelot. Finally, he showed up in the second half of the season. I wish him well, except for those two times each season when we play the Browns. A one trick pony.

Whined non stop about playing special teams, the base alignments, and was worthless at setting the edge and/or in coverage, he can blitz with minimal success in obvious passing situations. Awesome.

Had half of a good season out of 4-5, mostly against inferior competition
