To all the raven fans, thanks for the laughs from your comments.

Plax is probably going to fill in most of the season and help out when there are injuries. He is not a replacement for Wallace but they do seem to drop some easy cathces from time to time. Hopefully he is hungry to prove himself and hopefully we do not need to depend on him as Sanders and Brown should be our #1 and #2. If we can establish a running game this year, we could have a balanced offense and play less ctach up in Q4

No guarantees he even makes the team. I figure he will be competing against cotchery for a roster spot. The steelers will still draft at least one wr anyways.

Yeah, because Plaxico was clearly asked to stay for 1 year at vet minimum because he’s the Future at the position. Get a clue.

ravenmuscle, you do realize the Steelers now own one of THEE youngest offensive lines in the entire NFL, right? Their actually getting younger in almost every position and you’ll see more draft picks get their nod. McClendon will replace Hampton. Heyward will replace Keisel. Cortez Allen is making a name for himself. Antonio Brown. Emmanuel Sanders. Lots of upcoming youth with veteran-wise mixed in. Health is the issue with the Steelers, NOT age. Before Ben’s injury, the Steelers were 6-3 and labeled the best team in the NFL before Ben’s freak injury. Transition into the new offense (got a years experience) tighten down, get healthy and return the league’s #1 defense with a few wrinkles and the Steelers will be chappin’ that a$$ in no time.

Great signing… Red zone depth will be nice when we get Miller back. Brown, Sanders, Miller & Plax …. Solid! I think Plax will have a lot more chances this yr, and more TDs then sloppy hands, bad attitude/I don’t like cold weather Wallace.

Now we know Ravenator is lacking intelligence besides humor.

Worry about your own team with no safety, no go to WR who will go up strong and fight for Flaccos jump balls.

For the record, Keenan Lewis had ONE, count them, ONE good season as a starting corner and a lousy 1 interception performance. Cortez Allen is a young and fresh prospect who is a big hitter and a NOSE for the football. Why overspend on a corner when we have Allen just as, if not, better than Lewis (who rotted on the bench for 4 seasons)? If there’s any overrated FA, it’s Keenan Lewis.

I think this means that the Steelers will NOT take a receiver in at least the first four rounds.
Which is smart. There are a lot more pressing needs.

Also, the Steelers could have Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson and an in his prime Jerry Rice and the Steelers would still lose a game when their defense only gives up six points.
