Antoine Cason visiting Cardinals

With a need for reinforcements at cornerback, the Cardinals are hosting Chargers free agent Antoine Cason, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Wednesday.

Cason is No. 51 on our free agent Hot 100 list.

Cason, 26, has started 45 games in the last three seasons for San Diego. He has 12 career interceptions. Cason played collegiately at the University of Arizona.

The Cardinals have undergone some changes at corner in the offseason. Starting right cornerback William Gay was released, and reserve Greg Toler departed for Indianapolis on the first day of free agency.

Teams won’t have to run the ball with that choice.

Plllleassssse take him from the Chargers!

    Cason is TURRIBLE!

There’s not a guy on the team I want to see gone more. Anytime there is a blown play you know it’s Cason.

We had high hopes for him but he never ever progressed from his first season. He’s stagnant.

As the Cardinals tried or wanted to keep Toler he left. Gay failed the team so that was a good move I’m ok with Cason. There are more CB in the draft as well
