I am one of those people who think Bush is a very good player and this is a great fit. This guy is sometimes a better catcher than a runner so he can line up in the backfield and easily be motioned in the slot. The only worry is Stafford – dunno which side of the bed he wakes up on a given Sunday.

Great pickup, reasonable price. I am a ‘hawks fan so this is totally unbiased

What’s the bid deal…it’s the NFL. He’s on a year to year contract and the he knows and the Lions know he’ll never see 2016. It’s a deal this team needed to make because anyone in draft was far from a sure thing.

Calvin’s prime is now and they needed to find a Best replacement.

This contract and the willingness of other FA’s to sign reasonable deals shows how much players respect the Lions and their staff. They sure aren’t going there for the Detroit scenery.
