That would be a reasonably nice FA day.

But my real dream would be to go OL heavy in the draft. Yes, the defense needs lots of work still, however, let’s get one thing, the offense, REALLY right here. Draft a couple of road-grading franchise QB protectors and we will have a strong OL for years to come. Something that most good teams have as a foundation, which the Lions have not has in my 50 years rooting for them – even Barry had nowhere to run!

Do this and I will be patient with winning or losing games by the score of 54-51 for the couple years it will take to shore up the D.

Please Mayhew, make me proud to support the Lions!

A GOOD Power Back. A RB that will bleed yardage out of the defense and can sustain drives.

Bush is not an every down Back..he’s a chunk yardage multipurpose back and matchup chess piece.

At least just going by Bush’s history in New Orleans as opposed to grass in Miami. I think he was very good for the Dolphins, eventhough they for some reason didn’t feature him much in the passing game. If he stays healthy, it’s a very good pick up for the Lions.
