The Chargers have a glaring need on the offensive line, and they’re taking a low-key approach to fixing it.

A day after signing former Eagles tackle King Dunlap, they’re now close to a deal with former Bills guard Chad Rinehart, according to Michael Gehlken of U-T San Diego.

Rinehart started 17 games in three years for the Bills, and has a tie to the Chargers via offensive line coach Joe D’Alessandris, who was with the Bills last year.

UPDATE 1:56 p.m. ET: The deal is done, with Rinehart agreeing to a one-year deal.
