Cherilus cashes in with Colts

The contracts for players who has signed with new teams are tricking in. We’ve posted some numbers at our Twitter account (which you should be following).

We’ll now be putting more of the details here.

Tackle Gosder Cherilus, who made the jump from the Lions to the Colts, signed a five-year, $35 million contract.

He’ll receive a $10 million signing bonus, along with the following base salaries: $5.5 million in 2013 (fully guaranteed); $1 million in 2014 (guaranteed for injury only); $4 million in 2015; $7 million in 2016; and $7.5 million in 2017.

The cap numbers are $7.5 million in 2013, $3 million in 2014, $6 million in 2015, $9 million in 2016, and $9 million in 2017.
