At least we’re acknowledging that Roethlisberger can be injured and shouldn’t be allowed to throw a game in a personal quest to play Superman. Gradkowski is a serviceable backup who’s not likely to break on first use like Leftwich and who won’t cost a fortune. With our cap issues, that’s probably the best we can hope for right now.

He was awesome. Got derailed with injuries a couple of times and then they let him go just so Jason Campbell wouldn’t be looking over his shoulder the whole time in 2011. Grads is better than Jason Campbell.

Not the biggest guy or the biggest arm, but he can make things happen out there. Fairly similar to a Jeff Garcia, IMO.
