Even though these are not league shaking signings, I like what the lions ate doing with what they have. This gives somewhat clearer plan for the draft. I would like to see DE,OL,LB. They drafted 3 DB’s last year. They just need to stay healthy.

It is a rare day when there is no legitimate, sustainable grievance to level against the Lion organization regarding current personnel moves. Though it’s become more fun to complain, today we can take the opportunity to say, “Good job.” Now don’t mess up the draft.

Not sure why this signing automatically means Delmas is gone, they still only have one starter. I’d like to see them find a way to resign him, draft Milliner, a safety (Baccari Rambo?), find a RG (Barret Jones maybe), RT isn’t an issue they’ll just plug Reiff there. They’ll still need to find a legit #2 WR and Raiola’s replacement (Jones again?)

Lions doing well, solidified dline with jones and young, upgraded backfield with bush, help secondary by bringing back houston and now signing quin, brought back levy. if they can resign delams they will be good to go

Nice resigned Houston, signed Quin. Now get Jarvis Jones, Bjorn Warner, or Fee Milliner and really make this defense nice. Then pick up Barrett Jones in the second and your oline would be set

Yes, that’s your measuring stick when you’re in the same division as Aaron Rodgers and you have to face him 2x a year for a shot at the playoffs.

Great additions today! Although they signed the local boy Jason Jones today they still need help on the d line, along with the obvious right side of the line and still some help at corner, but luckily the draft is pretty deep at those spots. I’d call free agency a success in Detroit. Now, they just need to get Stafford’s deal restructured and hopefully bring back Justin Durant.

I don’t know much about this guy, but, I know schemes are often a factor in the NFL…just saying.

Love your enthusiasm but I think you should temper your expectations. The defense still needs a quality CB, FS/SS (Spievey isn’t very good) OLB and DE.

I really like everything their doing so far, but they aren’t as complete as the Packers or Bears…which pains me as a diehard Lions fan, but unlike several among this fan base, I can look at the situation objectively.

I hope I’m wrong because I REALLY want to see a winner here before I croak.

Still pending the numbers on all these deals, but I like what the Lions have done today. It’s a step in the right direction! Now they need to focus on executing a couple of key trades in coordination with the draft and they can really develop a nice shape to enter the season. Good stuff!
