What exactly does McCoy having 2000 rushing yds, have to do with Brian Urlacher’s contract. Bears play the Eagles once next season. Typical Eagles fan, always running their mouths and in turn sticking their foot there, at the end of the season.

They have more cap space than the Bears do. Not much, but more.

I think Urlacher fits into the ‘nice to have, but not essential’ category for both teams, who have a hole at MLB and will probably draft one in the early rounds.

I could see the Vikings offering Urlacher something like a 1-year, $4m deal with an option on another year at the same price. Whether Urlacher would sign it or the Bears would match it is a question mark.
