On the surface, Ike Taylor was responsible for lining up over Thomas in the first O.T snap, but watch closely. Ike was supposed to have help if Mundy didn’t creep up in the box far too deep.

Mundy showed blitz but was too close to the LOS which allowed Thomas to get inside. Mundy was supposed to drop and give leverage on the outsides but he was too late as you can see him chugging to get back once the ball was in the air. No doubt in my mind Ryan Clark would of been there to be in position and would of been in the proper yard sequence to atleast crowd the lane and worst case, make the tackle on Thomas and prevented the 80 yard fluke.

No, not at all. In fact, I was nowhere near any posts regarding Stevie Brown nor the N.Y Giants. Ever, because honestly, I don’t care.

I was LOL’ing because I’m a diehard Steelers fan who watched this guy time and time and time and time and time again having the opportunity to take control of a Steelers secondary since he was drafted in a provin’ defensive system that’s been in place for decades only to see him whomp-whomp-whomp around the football field who couldn’t seem to get our of his own quick-sand. Ryan Mundy was groomed to take over the FS position for years and ranks highly on my list of the most disappointing young prospects to suit up for the Black & Gold.

Don’t be TOO butthurt, though.
