APThe Giants and free agent linebacker Keith Rivers have agreed to terms on a one-year contract, Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger reported Thursday.
Rivers, 26, appeared in 11 games for the Giants in 2012 and made starts at strong-side and weak-side linebacker.
Rivers, who played collegiately at USC, was a first-round pick of the Bengals in 2008. He has yet to play all 16 games in an NFL season. That said, he’s encountered some bad luck, such as when he suffered a broken jaw on a block by the Steelers’ Hines Ward in 2008.

Lots of potential … very little production.
Nice. One more year of Alfred Morris running right thru him for two easy wins for Washington.
Ahhh the Washington troll … proud owner of a one-and-done playoff appearance. A man’s ambition must be small … etc etc.

What is an Alfred Morris?
It is good to see that logicalvoicesays is back and trolling. I was worried when they said that they were done watching the NFL because it was rigged, you know, since the Redskins lost. The NFL was planning for Manning or Brady to win the Super Bowl, if I recall correctly. Good times.

Just remember Redskin fans, your skins beat the Giants twice in 2011….
The GMEN won the Super Bowl.
and illiterate voice, the Gmen split with the skins last year…
The Redskins don’t have anyone besides RG3 and he’ll be hurt by week 6.
Hes to old for potential by now he is what he is injured an never lived up to hype
Hey logic, you’re slipping on your Eagles and Steelers account. Losing your, brother.

Keith Rivers. There’s a name from the “proud history” of the Bagels. He’s just another SoCal Sunshine Superman who can’t actually, uh, play the game–but boy, did he ever know how to posture!
The Hines Ward clean block that knocked this “superman” out for the season in 2008 would probably draw a flag and a fine now in Roger’s wussball, but it was a classic and completely legal.
Love the hate on here for the Giants. Shows you guys still care that we’re good.
Go cry.
He better stay healthy. He made a few plays the rare time he was healthy.
Another Bengal bust.
