Hey “thenyolive” , Good pick up for the Pats , good for A-Dub too! The man is a true leader, younger players will learn from him. He never had any issues on or off the feild. We were upset in AZ to see him go. Watch his highlights.

Adrian Wilson would be a great addition to the Patriots defensive backfield. I do not understand why Arizona let him go.

As soon as he was cut I was hoping the Pats would look at him. He might not be what he used to be , but the Pats have a young defense and this dude is a pro’s pro and will bring some leadership as well. I am of the (probably minority) opinion that I’d rather have a solid reliable safety like him next to McCourty than a freelancer like Ed Reed. I think having Reed back there with McCourty will hurt McCourty’s development. I’m not slighting Reed at all, he’s an all time great. I’m just saying Wilson’s a better fit for the Pats.

All that matters is that they lost Wes Welker AND Ed Reed will be playing in Houston.
Amentola is a brittle tooth pick…good luck with him lasting more than a few games.

Please sign him! This would be a great addition if he signs on and they keep Talib. Put McToast at FS and have Dennard and Talib as the CB’s and Wilson and McToast as the Safeties. Defense would look pretty formidable.

They don’t really have much flexibility with McCourty. Safety or bust. Can’t keep having him switch roles. He looks to be a good safety and he sucks at corner.

What I’m thinking is that if they sign Veteran Wilson, he’ll be teaching Younger Wilson while Younger Wilson plays in sub-packages covering TEs. But I agree, NE needs CBs more than Safeties.
