Getty ImagesNow that the first flurry of big money free agents have signed, and the market is starting to flatten, it’s time to find bargains in veterans who are undervalued.
It’s a Patriots specialty, and they’re meeting with a few. In addition to Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson, they are also going to check out former Falcons defensive end John Abraham Friday, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network.
The 34-year-old Abraham is still productive, with 10.0 sacks last year. That marked his seventh double-digit sack season. He has 122.0 sacks in 13 seasons.
While the Falcons monitored his snaps to keep him on the field in obvious pass-rush situations, he continued to produce when he was out there, and will be able to help the Patriots, or any other team interested.
